We are finally finishing a post Maddie started a few weeks ago:)  So the pictures are out of date, but thought we'd share it anyway.  Our house should be done by Dec. 13th.  They're pouring the driveway tomorrow, and the painters have started their 3-4 week job.
We really miss everyone!  Have a wonderful start to the holidays!

Hey- it's Maddie! I'm posting for our family this week.
Grandma Faylene came and visited for Dad's birthday! It was so fun to have her here! :)

We went out to Johnny Carino's for his birthday dinner.

there's a normal face :)
We had peach pie instead of cake- but we used our last bag of frozen Utah peaches! kinda sad

For Ephraim's birthday we had a friend party at Chuck-E-Cheese. It was a Monday afternoon, so it was pretty empty- we almost had the whole place for ourselves!

There was a huge storm a few weeks ago-
lots of lightning, super heavy rain, some
really strong wind, power going out, scary stuff.
It was enough to blow over the tree in our front yard!
Here's our house! They just finished the stone, so this picture is a little out of date.

We all have our own lockers by the garage :)

The littles went to Which Wich with Mom.
Ephraim decided to like tomatoes and he wanted Stori to see:)
These  first day of preschool pictures never made it onto Facebook with the rest of the first day of school pics

a few more from Grandma's visit.  We all missed her as soon as she drove away.

 Happy 5th birthday Ephraim
 Conference cookies!

Clara went to 5th grade Sky Ranch with all her classmates and Mom got to go with her! It was 3 days
and two nights. We missed them but they had so much fun :)

Nori made ice cream at school.  mom and the littles went to help

It's the state fair! We love having a day off in the
middle of the week.It was so fun to have Josh
 there too :)

There's this really awesome petting zoo at the fair
with all these animals like giraffes, zebras, alpacas,
llamas... pretty sweet.

It's a turkey leg and it's hard to eat by yourself.

Lunch at the fair. Sooo good!

Hello There!

It has been way too long since all of us have posted!!  Thank you Kristie (At least I think it was Kristie!?) for posting!  It is so fun to read about and see pictures of what everyone's up to!

Well- we have some exciting news!  Nope- NOT pregnant! Haha!  But, my baby sister, Sarah, is getting married!!  Her missionary got home in August and they got engaged this past weekend and set their date for Nov. 15th!!  So that means we'll be heading home for a visit!  Yay!  Not excited about the drive, but plane tickets would be way too expensive for a family of 7!  We're hoping to be able to stay and visit for a few days, but it all depends on if Tyler can find an assistant wrestling coach.

We finished our kitchen renovation- well, almost- we still have a few little things to do, but we love it!  It's nice to have appliances that actually work like they're supposed to!  Haha!  And we love our new sink!

I thought we had some pics of the kitchen all done, but I guess we don't.

Everyone's doing well in school.  They started way back at the beginning of August.  Tyler- 4th year teaching, Taylor started 8th grade, Jon- 6th, Max- Kindergarten, and Levi- Preschool!  Max had kind of a rough start, but he's doing better now. He got all 5 Stars (5 Stars is really good!) last week except for one day when I guess he said "poop".  Really??  I mean I'm not a big fan of that word myself, but it's Kindergarten, and he's a 5 yr. old boy!  I guess the teacher has to be hard on them so they will learn to be good :)

Speaking of teachers....Look at this handsome guy on his first day of his 4th year teaching!

Soooo excited!  Can you tell?  Ha!

Levi's first day of Preschool!

Taylor started Football several weeks ago, but broke his arm during practice before they even made it to their first game :(   He's got 2.5 more weeks to go until he gets the cast off.  He's being a good sport about it though and is still going to practice to help out as the water-boy.

Oh- and he got glasses!
Ryder started going to Nursery a couple weeks ago.  He doesn't like it much when he's first dropped off, but he settles in and does fine after a few minutes.  We have some really great Nursery leaders that LOVE being in there with the little kids, so that makes it nice.  Can't believe he's that old already though! He's finally growing some cute blonde hair :)
Nursery wore him out today!  Fell asleep on the way home from church.
Well, that's about it for now!  Hope everyone else can post soon!  :)

Breaking the Silence

We will break the silence...with picture overload. Not kidding, so many pictures. We had so much fun in Idaho.  Faylene, Melanie, Dan, Stori and Sylvie, thank you for letting us live with you for five weeks.  It was fabulous!  We just live too far away and it was wonderful to get out of TX heat and be with family and Idaho friends.
Since we've returned, we are doing what everyone's doing.  Busy school schedules of choir, voice, and piano for Maddie; scouts, activity days and piano lessons from mom for Iko and Clara; dance lessons and piano from mom for Nori; and preschool for the littles.  As we were leaving Idaho i got a phone call from the bishop and I'm now the primary president.  I love it, it's the best place to be:)  Our house should be done by Thanksgiving and all the decisions are "due" right now.  It's a bit stressful because I don't make decisions that well but I'm grateful to be making them.  everyone else post pictures soon too.  And remember, we'd love visitors.  Does anyone need any dental work done yet????:)
