the twins are OLD!!

Josh and Bridget turned 40!! unfortunately they weren't able to be together on their birthday, but I think both twins had surprise parties. Please note that this is Melanie writing-neither the twin, nor someone in her 40's.
Amanda threw such a fun party and the decorations and cake were all so cute! Especially this '40' collage!

Tommy's clothes

I told a few people about this picture and then never posted it. It was the day after Christmas and I was cleaning up the living room. I put Tommy's clothes over the arm of the couch. A little while later I saw Miles changing and was impressed that I hadn't had to tell him to get dressed. I walked into the kitchen and a few minutes later Miles came in fairly frantic. This is why....

I realized when the kids are late getting ready I go and get their clothes and put them over the arm of the couch. Miles knew he had new clothes and thought these were his. The shirt is size 18 months and the pants are 12 months. We started laughing So hard and he was so mad because he realized what he had done and couldn't get them off!

We are thankful for...

Thanksgiving 2011 was certainly one to remember! The Dursts surprised us, the weather was nice, fun pillow craft, jar full of lady bugs, and don't forget about the smoke detectors going off as we were listing what we were thankful for! haha. Those candied yams were still ever so tasty! It really was a great Holiday! (Ty and Jen were DEFINITELY missed)!!!!!!!

Heeeeeee's walking!

I think I can say that today is officially the first day that walking is Tommy's primary mode of transportation. He has been walking here and there for a while. He is different than the other kids. They were always able to walk but too afraid to try. Tommy is fearless but didn't quite have the coordination. Considering how tricky crawling was for him he really has this whole walking thing nailed early! Here are a couple of action shots!

I have no idea how this ended up on this blog! It was supposed to be on mine! I even went to my bookmark and went into my blog. I had to sign out as Maizy and somehow this is the one that came up when I signed in. I guess I will leave it here but just paste it onto my blog....weird! I went to view post and it took me a minute to realize this wasn't my blog! Crazy....
