Hi again everyone!  Just a few things this week:)  For FHE activity we went to see "Frozen Singalong in the theatre.  It was SO fun.  we were the only ones until a tiny boy and his mom came in.  So we belted out every song.  It was really so great.  This little movie has brought a lot of magic to our cute kids:)

And of course we got snow which was beyond exciting for us!  It snowed all day Thursday and the kids got a snow day on Friday.  It melted yesterday, but we got lots of playing in.  we were wishing we had our sled and snowpants.

Yesterday was the Hot chocolate run.  It was freezing cold, but so fun.  Can't believe how good chocolate tastes after a run.  Never knew it could.  This is my friend Sandra who ran it with me.

We also got a fun eviction letter from our landlord.  What a great wave to rock the boat, eh?  We had to hire a lawyer and it's all too familiar.  Not sure how much we've shared on here, but when our toilet overflowed in November, we took care of things the way he wanted us to.  When it was time to restore the damaged areas, he flew off the handle when we asked him if he would file an insurance claim with his home owners insurance so it would only cost us his deductible (5000) instead of the 9000 it would be.  He went crazy and sent an email that was so out of control and refused at that point to even talk to us about it, referring us to a lawyer.  We had our lawyer send a letter and hadn't heard a response until now--an eviction notice.  sheesh.  So stick that in your prayers if you don't mind.  :)  Our lawyer said we don't need to worry about being kicked out on the street.  If we can just hold everything off until school's out, we can move to Idaho and live with Grandma til our house is done:)
Have a good week everyone!

Hi Family!  Here are a few pictures of January.  It's probably been the same type of month everyone has had.  Pretty regular things as the year starts out.  We've had some really cold weather, and some days we can be out without jackets.  It's been perfect.
We took sandwiches to the park in this picture.  It's got a dog park connected to it, so if you look closely, you can see Maddie reading and "babysitting" Tally as she runs around.  :)  It was a fun outing.

Isaac's last pinewood derby car.  It's shaped like a feather.  He and Corey had so much fun making it!
Three running buddies.  They love going out to exercise together.  I may never put them in an organized sport again.  They're home more, it's free, and they're doing it together.  It's been great.
Clara IS in an organized sport too actually, she has two games left.  She's been on a basketball team with her friend Ashlie.  It's through Lakepoint Church, which is a really BIG "nondenominational" church (kind of baptist) here in Rockwall.  Lots of the kids' friends go there.  It's a gigantic building. They all really like it because while the grownups go to worship, the kids play the wii and other games.  Some people around here call it "Six Flags Over Jesus"  Anyway, they run a whole sports program and it's been great.  They have a prayer before each game, and they do a devotional at practice. Sorry, no rotate on here.
Ephraim is super ready for preschool, but I don't want him to go anywhere.  We're having too much fun playing with legos together.
Not much else is going on.  Plenty of house planning, but they still haven't started yet.  I welcome any ideas and help.  I hate decision making and putting all these things together is FAR from my talents.

Here are a few little extras I found while going through pictures today.  I thought they were cute.  2006 egg hunt:)

Hello from Havasu

We got a swing set yesterday and Max and Levi are LOVING it!  I don’t know why it’s taken us this long to get one!  Little by little we’re trying to make our back-yard a little more appealing for the kids to play in.  I’m sure it can’t be too fun to play on a big flat sheet of gravel.

Tyler’s big news is that the Wrestling team took Regionals last week!!  WooHoo!  As a first year head coach, this is quite a big accomplishment for him and he was very excited and proud of the team Pretty proud of him!

It’s been windy and cold here the past few days.  When it’s windy the older boys think its fun to take a big tarp out on the trampoline.  They each hang on to one side and let it blow in the wind while trying to hang on to it.  They said the wind was so strong yesterday that it knocked Max over!

Ryder is standing by himself more and more which means he’s falling more and more.  It seems like there’s not a day that goes by that he doesn’t get a new bump or bruise.  I guess that’s part of growing up.  Can’t believe he’s going to be ONE next month!! Crazy!!

Tyler and the boys are all watching the big game right now.  We decided to have cake bites as our Sunday treat, so I better go get them made for our half time snack J

Hope everyone’s doing well!  We love and miss you all and are looking forward to summer when we can see everyone again!

Radfords

Well, we are all moved out of Peterson Pointe #300.... a very sad day for all of us. We all loved that 500sq. ft. apartment. On the bright side of things, we get to live with Granny Faylene! Stori loves her so much and always asks her to save her from us! :)
Dan applied for law school, so now the waiting game begins. and he is also only working about 20 hours a week, so we get 4 day weekends together! Which has been great while we have been packing/moving/cleaning/organizing etc.

so cute being all grown up and stuff!
"Hey Mom, look! It's my cousin Annie!"
A 2 hour trip to the ER Sunday night. Poor little dehydrated baby

Happy and sweet!
nap time...
bedtime stories

And now some of the natural hair styles of Sylvie June Bug... you never know what it will look like after bath time...

and our personal favorite...The "Conan"
Hope everyone comes to visit soon!

Finally a note from the Peterons!

Well my computer wasn't reading my card so I didn't feel the need to post until it started working and now...it works! K, this is a picture of Daphne and our new Foster son Jaron. This was so so funny because I had taken a bunch of pictures of them here and zoomed out and there was little Tommy sidled up to Daph smiling sweetly like he was supposed to be there and I had no idea he had even come out. I laughed pretty hard.

We need some new snow! The kids love snowmobiling so much! They all just stand in the field across the road and Joel takes two at a time.

"I got too much toilet paper"

The boys playing on the computer

Sleepover on the big pillow! We have now surpassed the size of the pillow and one person has to take a turn only being kind of on the pillow. Millie was the fist volunteer.

I love using every ounce of old house we can. Joel almost threw this chunk of tongue and grove wall out when he cut out the door for the bathroom. What? Crazy I know! Luckily I made him save it and we used it for the seat of the bench we made for our room!

This is what running in Clarkston looks like for about half the year! This is Darcy Katie and I. Joel and I have done our 8 miler now. Just four more long runs until the half marathon!

Maizy's foray into cake decorating. She was a little disappointed it wasn't perfect the first time. Maybe now they will be a little more appreciative when they make their requests for birthday cakes! :)

This is my little boy! He wanted to get out the cars basket but I told him he couldn't until he cleaned up his "projects". I looked down and he was filling up the bucket in his loader with Legos and dumping them into his Lego bucket.

I was talking to Mom on the phone and here came Tommy with our tripod. I don't even know where he found it and our camera (which he isn't allowed to touch without supervision) and was trying to hook it up. I knew immediately what he was doing "are you being Unca' Dan?" "Yup" of course he was and he took literally hundreds of pictures. I was just thinking I should have taken a picture of our new bench when I saw this one. Tommy's self portrait with the bench behind him.

This is what Maizy's backpack looks like every single day. Why? Why would you ever need more than one book at a time? Aleisa she should have been yours!

This has been a big month for Miles! He has had a hard time with "yes" and "no". He has been able to communicate it to us forever without actually using the words and I don't know why it was so hard for him to use these two words. He could use pecs correctly but couldn't say yes or no. He now can communicate them perfectly and does so very proudly! In the store he walked over to the hot dogs and picked them up and smiled at me. I asked what he wanted and he said "Hot dog, please yes?" I was so proud of him! But hot dogs aren't healthy so I scolded him, told him no, and to put them back. Just kidding! He knows he can get ANYTHING out of me when he uses his words. In fact we bough two packages. :) He has been reading his early reader Lightning McQueen books every night and when he gets a hard word that is tricky he pulls the blanket over his head and giggles before he can go on. So sweet.

As Mom said last week she came down for Caleb's ordination and I am so glad she did! Besides getting to hang out with her, she saved the day in Sacrament meeting! We were sitting there completely silently and concentrating on the speaker like always :) and Joel says "Megan (hands me Tommy) and says "It's gum". Oh my gosh! For some reason Tommy had stuck his gum on his eye! As I went to grab it he rubbed his eye. Instantly sticking his eyelashes closed and making him look a little bit like his eye was melted shut because the gum was skin colored. I took him out and was wondering what in the world I was going to do. SO I did the most logical thing. Told my Mommy on him! I went upstairs and got Mom and she happened to have hair spray in her car. I took him in the bathroom and Mom poured it on a paper towel and wiped and wiped. Tommy has extremely long eye lashes and I thought it was never going to come all the way off. But 15 minutes later we walked back into sacrament meeting like nothing had happened! Thank you Mother!

The End.

Tyler and Levi catching some much needed rest yesterday.
