Well, I don't have a lot to write. I updated my actual blog about Memorial Day-which was so much fun! It's always great to go to Star Valley and Jackson (even if it did involve throw up).
Stori and I added some new friends that walk with us every day. We do about 5 miles and then let the kids play at a park and then walk home. It's perfect because it entertains the kids the whole morning and then they are completely wiped out in time for nap time. All the moms got together one night to go see the Great Gatsby and get Fro Yo from Kiwi Loco. We had a lot of fun.
On friday we went to the Farmers Market in Rexburg and then went to a bon fire with some random people from our ward. At the Farmers market, Stori, Lila and Tracen were all dancing so crazy that several old couples came up to us and thanked us for the entertainment for the night haha!
Saturday we went swimming with the same friends (well, dan went to the Temple and then studied for the LSAT while we partied). Then after nap time we got a picnic all together and headed to the park. Stori had her friend Tracen ride in her bike trailer with her and they were giggling and telling secrets the whole ride. At one point she had one hand to her ear talking to "Rydee" and the other hand petting Tracens head.
Dan is busy busy busy. He works all day and then comes home and studies. He is usually getting up early to study also. The big test is next monday! EEK! So nervous. We won't find out his scores until the middle of July...how ridiculous is that?! I think he will do great, but he could maybe use an extra prayer or so! :)
These bottom pictures are just 2 reasons why I absolutely love being a mom. And especially to a little girl. Her first braided pony tails, and matching pedicures! Throw in some fro yo from maverick and it's perfect.
Today we went out to mom's house for an AMAZING dinner!!! Mom made some amazing bbq ribs! We also had salad, red potatoes, and Josh's family made the Christensen brownies. :)
The kids had fun playing outside on the hammocks and in the forest. Mom's yard is looking so beautiful! I seriously can't wait for all the family to come!!!!! Bring on the craziness! :)
This is Kristie. Good luck to Dan. That is super stressful. You'll do great. Mel, I'm so happy you have fun friends to be with. That morning walk sounds great. And Ohhh...those braids. Love it! Can't wait to see you guys!
